what can you say...

..or do...for someone who is hurting, who's going through tough times...
how do you encourage someone you can't relate to at all?

i remember reading this verse, to let God do the encouraging or relating....Lamentations 3:1,20ish
"1 I am the man who has seen affliction...[goes on to specifics]...
19 I remember my affliction and my wandering,
the bitterness and the gall.
20 I well remember them,
and my soul is downcast within me.
21 Yet this I call to mind
and therefore I have hope:
22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,

for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;

great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him."
25 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation of the LORD. "

...it's hard to believe that when you're in a rut isn't it? to look forward to the next morning, no matter how many more problems you have...cuz his forgiveness, his compassions are that much more also. it's hard...cuz it's so intangible. (no i didn't mean to have an answer for this. maybe you have a comment?)

i've been opened up to a couple lives this week...aspects that i haven't really seen before...
PRAISE GOD for what he's done...what he is yet to do...
but also fall down before Him and plead for these people.

even though i wasn't able to give advice...maybe God's been trying to teach me the values of silence.
i usually give bad advice (chris, 2006) anyways...cuz i'm pretty non-objective in approaching anything. is it that i side with people too easily, is that why people approach me to talk about stuff? so gullible..yes i care..i care tremendously....but that also means i trust too easily. in my mind everyone's good, and everyone's honest. (hyperbola) it's hard for me to distinguish between lies and truth...especially when it's not the whole truth. a while ago i was thinking about this, and the phrase that i'd been using the most was "what a jerk". been trying not to make comments like that lately, but ..yea. still trying XP
like albert said though...the judgment doesn't matter as much as what your actions are in response to it.

on a lighter note....cheers to superman! (aaaaahhhhhhh!!!!) and nacho, while i'm at it.

superman isn't like Brad Pitt adopting kids from across the world...besides he would put them in danger if the bad guys get their hands on his "family"

why would superman kill her in the process of making babies?

It really depends how you think about it.
