best?

Something i've been thinking about...

During this last 2006 year....i don't feel like i've tried my hardest. in Winnipeg...i could have prepared myself so much better, given more, been more open. Oracles...more committed, strive to learn more, to cheer more, to be a better leader. Kids Camp...to enjoy it more, drink in every moment as a blessing, to prepare more and do it ahead of time...

i've purposed to give my best in everything i'm involved in, week by week..
but something that's stuck out to me:

You don't have to be better than anyone else to be the best you can be.

maybe that's how i was judging my "best" this year...and maybe that's why it was so hard to feel accomplished.

What was that over-quoted Sun Tzu line... know yourself, know your enemy, and you will win a thousand battles. (But you'll lose the war? HAHAHA okay irrelevant...)

Always try to do better!

well you have done a lot this summer, you should be proud and I think you did a pretty good job with all you had to handle.

"In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory."
-Eph 1:11,12

Ya, I know that you know all of that, the point is that you have your own path and shouldn't compare what you to do other ppl =P

Hi Daniela!

I guess we could always have done better, but God understands that we can't be perfect all the time. :-) Don't be too hard on yourself, and keep relying on God and His Word.

You are forgiven!

God bless
