a theory that ought to be slapped

i've developed this theory in my mind, that whenever i have a good time at school, i won't have such a good time at fellowship, and vice versa. it also 'applies' to church and tc worship now.
(allright by now you're probably saying, "what?? how in the world...?")
and the more i believe that, the more it happens. as hard as i try to have fun and have a good time in one or the other, it always seems as if one is better and one is worse. i know i'm not supposed to look at it this way, but it's hard not to, now that the theory is drilled into my mind.

however, there are times when the theory doesn't apply. those days are when i'm either extremely happy or just feeling..bleh. There was one time that i remember really well when the happy one occured. I'd been a bit bleh for a while, so i asked God for happiness. i know this sounds silly, but believe me, it's a GREAT FEELING. and what all peoples have longed for for ages, i had for a couple days. (not that people now don't have it, it's just that, well i hadn't had it for a while...and that sentence sounded very poetic.)
so anyways, that was when i was just entirely happy all day, just enjoying every bit of the day. (as an afternote, i realized that in my 'happiness' i wasn't glorifying God, really. i figured that my 'happy' just led me to talk a lot more...hence the feeling i had a really good time. so God took it away and showed me the REAL happiness that comes knowing him)

there are plenty of times where the theory didn't apply because i was feeling bleh. today was one of those days....but what i've realized now is that i've been measuring my happiness by how much i talk. (if you've ever noticed, i talk A LOT less when i'm sad/feeling down) oh my. How depressing. that's no good... (concerned.......)

jesus......

awwwww

It's really hard to find true happiness in this world, since God is the true happiness that everyone needs...but we still stirve for earthly things to make us happy...wheather it be material goods or relationships with friends and family.. at the end of the day it's only God that can make you truly happy

School is depressing...=.=" especially if you had it non-sotp for over a year now =( blah!

haha...i don't think i've ever been sad cuz i was in a library, cuz nobody else talks either. :-)
talking = socializing, i meant, cuz don't you ever just stand back away from people when you're not in the mood?

heh i know.. i'm just playing with you.. but I totally understand the feeling.. but usually I over come it by saying to myself there's no point in pitying myself of being sad.. so I force myself to be happy and from there i actually start becoming happy... and my mood changes..
